I loved the beginning and the idea really intrigued me but after the first chapter I just got so bored? 5-50% felt like it was just character building and while normally i enjoy fully fleshed out characters it was just boring to read. I felt like i was dragging myself through. I started to get more interested at the 50% mark and couldn't put it down, but the ending let it down.
SpoilerI enjoyed all the reveals, Daniel being gay, Roni being in love with Seba and I love a mother willing to do ANYTHING to protect her kids, but Carole's character just fell really flat. It didn't give fierce mum, it gave 'meh sure i lie for my kids i guess'. I also HATE a double twist. I wish we had left it at he fell, nothing more to it but the last chapter just ruined it for me.
