Honestly I’m pretty torn between a 4.75 and 5. I think what’s dropping me down is the lack of diverse characters, but ah I’m going back to a 5. The book was so interesting and clever to be written like a documentary. It really helped pace the book and I felt transported into this rock and roll world Taylor Jenkins Reid created.
The surprise that Julia was the author was great that got me! I probably should have known given the authors other book seven husbands that the main narrator would somehow be connected to the story. But still it got me and that was a nice tie-in.
