Phew, what a book this was. I’ve been watching true crime docs and listening podcasts about it for some time now, so when I saw this one in the bookstore my interest was peaked and I couldn’t stop myself from picking it up. When reading this book it’s clear that the author has lots of experience in the field and knows what he is talking about. The book is a good combination of the description of the crimes of serial killers, their mindset at the time and when doing interviews all dashed with the opinion/thoughts of the author. Instead of just stating the facts like most do, by giving his own opinion and insights he makes it easier to really think with him and not feel that detached about the cases. I’ll be reading more of his books!
