This was my first second chance romance and I just adored it!
Wyatt’s a persistent man with such a sweet heart, it’s hard not to love him. McKenzie was great and I enjoyed going though all the emotions with her.
It's a spicy book with a suspenseful crime drama feel and there was so much emotion throughout, I definitely cried a few times. It covers heavy topics but theres still joy and funny moments throughout especially with the side characters who I loved.
Overall this book is really fantastic and a great twist on a romance book. Do look up trigger warnings.
