The Night and Its Moon
by Piper C.J.
This book was not as poorly written as I was expecting based on some of the things I’ve heard.
Sure there were some grammatical errors, misspelled words, random punctuation screw ups - but it wasn’t bad enough to kill the mood or bring me out of the story.
I liked the premise well enough - it was a fae fantasy novel. I like those. Easy sell.
The characters were intriguing, and I’m quite excited to see more of them!! I think a book does a good job when I’m invested in the side characters as well as the main, and I want more of Ash and Malik for sure. Amaris is a bad ass and I love her. I felt like I wanted more about Nox, so I’m interested to see what happens in the second book.
Overall, I thought this was a really neat concept, and I enjoyed the book! I will be buying book two when it comes out, and I’m really interested to see what happens with Amaris and Nox, and their new friends!
