Cop Town by Karin Slaughter

5.0

A fun story of a girl coming full circle.

Karin is incredibly skilled in writing these twisted thrillers, and honestly... I think I'd be scared if I ever got on her bad side!

The story of a cop killer in Atlanta is one unlike anything I've ever read before. Set in the 1970's everything is so much different than it is now (Duh, Kylie! I know I know).

So here's the deal with this bad boy, Karin figured out just the right way to manipulate your mind into thinking you had all the answers. You know who the killer is. She gives him a name and he leads his own weird little life... Until he doesn't!

When all the pieces fall together it's incredible. I think I laughed, because of that crazy feeling you get accompanied by "no way"!

This book doesn't have you biting your nails and sitting on the edge of your seat the entire time, but it has you captivated and wholly invested. I couldn't turn away from Maggie & Kate, I just couldn't do it.

This unconventional book is a must read for fans of Karin Slaughters many other novels!
