Blimey this goes on a bit and gets itself into all kinds of knots so it becomes head scratcher … a head scratcher in the sense of why did I pick this up, why am I still reading this, does this make any sense at all…pity because it’s got a very good starting point and there  are moments when the writing is terrific, especially the ship battle scenes
