Truth by Julia Karr

4.0

A great follow up to XVI. Nina has to deal with even more problems now that she has her tattoo and Ed's disappearance is being investigated. Another boy complicates her relationship with Sal, and she begins to question if she wants to live the same life her mother did with her father. Nina really steps up to embrace her role in the Resistance in this novel, and her friends, new and old, are once again there to support her. I am really interested in how the next book turns out because the ending of Truth leaves a lot of room for the sequel. And I was a bit surprised how everything ended in Truth, which is a nice surprise when reading YA. Can't wait to see what Karr does next!

*I read the ARC for Truth through the Around the World Arc Tour.
