Dark Alpha's Lover by Donna Grant

Another Gripping Story In This Addictive Paranormal Romance Series

As I've said before, I am already a fan of this series and love Ms Grant's writing style. The fantasy world that she's created is complex but believable, her characters are engaging; what I like is that none of them are stereotypically evil or good but have the multilayered depth of personality that are present in real life.

Although this book is the fourth in this series, as well as being part of her well established Dark World universe, Ms Grant weaves any necessary information into this story to ensure new readers don't feel lost.

Dark Alpha's Lover could be read as a standalone romance because that aspect of this book is resolved in Ms Grant's signature HEA style, however, the background story revolving around the threat posed by Bran, the ex-Reaper and current nemesis has only escalated within these pages and is far from concluded.

This book made me blubber like a baby, growl in frustration, cry out in shock and had my adrenaline pumping, however, as a romance there's also enough tender scenes and romantic gestures to warm my old heart and plenty of sexual anticipation and titillating passion to send tingles in all the right places too.
