First 50%: okay, cool. A little lacking on the promised witchcraft but other than that enjoying my time. Atmospheric storytelling. I really feel for these girls.
Solid 4 stars, despite all the missed opportunities.

Next 45%: even less of the promised witchcraft.
Horror? I don't know her. Everyone's annoying. Nothing but traumatic birthing happening to teen girls. (Really Grady?? You couldn't think of any other topic for your book??) The spelled out/on the nose commentary really grinds my gears. I guess I'm actually hating this.

Last 5%: SHUT THE F*CK UP ALREADY!!

In the end, this story left me feeling underwhelmed and disappointed. And the more I think of this book, the more I hate it.
