I picked up this book knowing it was a why choose romance but was unprepared for how good the plot was actually going to be. Even if you take out ALL the spice (which there is a LOT) this story still hits hard. A story of self discovery in new uncharted territory for all parties involved, when one girl falls in love with 3 men there is bound to be a lot of spicy, tension, and a major adjustment period for all players involved(pun intended).
I listened to this book on audio; 25 hours, and wow are the narrators TOP NOTCH.
I loved all their voices, passion, and ability to talk in all 4 characters different tones. (jake was my favorite).

This story follows Rachel who meets Jake on a one night stand in the prequel; that one night, highly suggest reading that first. She is a doctor who gets an internship with the hockey team that Jake plays on. When she arrives she is picked up from the airport by Caleb who is Jake's best friend. Jake and Caleb have a long standing history and Rachel starts to fall for both of them. This obviously has to work itself out between the two men and Rachel. Along the way Rachel also start a relationship with another player as well. Not giving out spoilers but these 4 have so much growth throughout the book and their love story is honestly just beautiful.

The overall story of the book is figuring out how to all be with Rachel while also sharing her with one another. However; the subplots in this book is what kept me sooo intrigued the entire time.
Like i said you could take out the spice and there is a still plot to push the story but the book would probably be 200 pages and who wants that.

I would also like to shoutout to the author for her incredible ability to write a scene. There is a LOT of moving parts and I was never confused or questioned where any of the characters were or what was happening during their intimate scenes. Girlfriend must have done some serious research because they were impressive.

Overall if you are looking for an extremely spicy, multiple partner, LGBTQ story with a sweet and sassy story I would highly recommend this.
I don't think this is going to become a standard read for me but it was very enjoyable.

The reason this book was not a 5 star read for me is the self doubt, want to run away from it until literally the end from Rachel was a bit much. The guys were constantly supportive and reassuring and she kept trying to end things and it was a bit annoying especially at the very end. Otherwise this book was knockout.

Also I love Jake and want him forever.
