Sophomore jinx because this one was a letdown...Not enjoying the love triangle and I don't understand why all these people can't talk.
Chrysabelle was enjoyable in book 1, but she is becoming annoying. I guess with the covenant broken, she doesn't know what she wants other than revenge on Tatiana for the death of Maris, her mother. She also wants to fulfill her obligation to Mal, whom she has feeling for. Their sexual tension has past a point of enjoyment to me. It's more of "can you please shag him and get it over with..thanks". I hope book 3 is much better
