I don’t have a lot of stuff to say about this particular volume. It felt very much like set up we have the Nation leaders meeting and then war breaks out. Chamberlain ends up killing his President and is going to end up the President of the Confederacy so that’s concerning. But I love Chamberlain for being a huge dick so it’s also great! I loved when Madame President Palpatine asks for Xiaolian to name the Chosen and Xiaolian points to her like “You, bitch”.
There wasn’t a whole lot of Death in this volume, Wolf did…something with his father, made a deal with a demon I think. I don’t really know. Death made nice with the lawman and his kid escaped from the three horsemen and ended up blowing up where they were keeping him. He got a new name Babylon and named his robot “Balloon”. But Balloon seems to be evil because he’s manipulating what Babylon is seeing and for some reason. I don’t really know.
Overall it was still good, I liked the stuff with the Nation leaders and I’m concerned about Babylon. Onto the next volume!
