This book felt quite shallow. I was hoping that Brooke's resolve would be stronger in rejecting Chase to create more tension. But, they got physical rather quickly. Also, the structure of the book was quite different. The resolution felt both rushed and dragged out. I was hoping for grumpy sunshine because that was hiw it was marketed to me, but it was normal. But Chase was a total douchebag for the majority and you didn't see his development until he was grovelling. I also didn't like how Brooke liked to jump to conclusions and kept wanting to force stuff out of Chase. Also, the little part with her dad seemed rushed too. The epogue was cute though because we could see Chase's pov - ig if the entire book was dual pov, I would enjoy it more.
