I honestly don’t even know where to start with this book. Was it good? ABSOLUTELY. Was it ridiculously and unnecessarily long? 100%.
The story revolves around this buff golden boy rugby player who accidentally hits poor little Shannon on the head, practically breaking her. He then spends half the book apologizing and the other half driving her around like a chauffeur, all while we’re reading his endless internal monologue about how he’s sooo obsessed with her.
I can’t lie.. I actually LOVEEED this book, especially the side characters. But let’s be real, barely anything happens between Johnny and Shannon for most of the story. There’s so much going on around them that it feels chaotic at times. And when the long awaited kiss finally happens… HE DOESN’T EVEN KISS HER BACK. Talk about a slow burn
