A is for Alibi by Sue Grafton

It starts out very promising and very engaging! Unfortunately, the more I read, the more the plot started to lose me and the less the other characters were proper characters and not just props, the less I liked it. I kept going to get the closure of a solved case, but wasn't left with a sense of wow I need to read more about this character and her cases but rather with a sense of ...meh, that's done.
