I had a hard time with the first 60% of this book. I found Izzy so whiney that I just wanted to throw something because she annoyed me and mad me so angry all the time. The only reason I didn't DNF this book was because I saw it was up for a Goodreads choice award in two categories so I figured it had to be good right? Meh not really. No it the worst book ever but certainly not the best. Time travel can be tricky because it gets so convoluted so fast. This book didn't really do anything that hasn't been done before with the concept of time travel. We've seen it all before. I could have also loved without the body shaming, the insta love (what the heck), the repetitive writing, (enough about the croissant already), and the villain saying racist and sexist things just to let us know he's the bad guy.
