I am mind blown by the continuation of this story. I don't know how Elle does it, but the way she pulled me into this story, held me in a chokehold, and then left me dangling off the cliff she threw at us, still begging for more, is just insane to me. These characters are so multifaceted, so well developed, and everything about them is so consistently carried throughout the story, each of their personalities shining through and showing us a different side of them with each interaction. The way the guys can be so hard to each other, yet so protective of Kara, and so lovingly caring with Hayley Jade melted my heart. The addition of Grayson was so perfect and he brings such a different feeling to their story. And even more so, the smexual tension between Hayden and Hawk... OMG chapter 22 almost did me in, had me hyperventilating the whole way through. I can't wait to see what the final book will bring to the story but at the same time I don't want it to end.
