The love story felt cliche, and the whole plot line was pretty standard, predictable fantasy stuff. Also there wasn’t enough spice for my liking… it says “sexy” on the cover, after all!
Having said that, I still thoroughly enjoyed the book and plan on continuing the series. It’s got good world building; love a book with a map in the front. I liked all the details about faerie lore and meeting the different kinds of faeries. Lucien is by far the best character and I want to hear more about him - maybe in the next instalment!
The Riddle had me physically rolling my eyes. Really?!
