The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks
by E. Lockhart
Eh. This was disappointing after I'd heard so many good things. I liked the complexity of Frankie- I always enjoy a lead female character who gets to be pretty unapologetically unlikable in some ways, and actually in general I liked that about the majority of the student characters. But I was not into the narration or the pace of the book. I feel like the "chronicle of events" tone was only half committed to and the whole thing ended up feeling like a very shallow dip into a more interesting story.
