A LITTLE BIT LIKE LOVE exceeded my expectations. I've enjoyed Ella Frank's books for a while and I read one she co-authored with Brooke Blaine but I had never read one of Brooke Blaine's solo books. The premise sounded just okay but I thought I'd give it a shot.
And I'm so glad I did. This is a wonderful 2nd chance romance. We follow Jackson who left South Haven 8 years ago after graduating from high school, leaving his boyfriend Lucas behind. But things aren't the way they seem to Lucas and now Jackson is back in town. Lucas, who sleeps with a different guy every night, thought he was over Jackson. But he isn't.
A LITTLE BIT LIKE LOVE has toe-curling romantic tension and I was engaged from start to finish. Can't wait to read more of her books.
