I read this book about 2 months ago but wasn’t able to write a review. One, I was too busy to think about anything related to books. Two, I wanted to write a review with absolutely no spoilers in it and all the reviews (I attempted twice before writing this one) I came up with had a lot of spoilers. Here is my review with very few spoilers. Like really few.
One thing I liked the most about this book was the relationship development between Elyse and Asher. They have become my second favourite couple after Mack and Cambrielle written by Judy. The second thing was how Asher was really discreet in his POV and how the mystery gradually bloomed towards the end of the book
Elyse is finally asked out by her crush, Nash who is a really nice guy and she is ecstatic. Then Asher returns. Then the story happens.
I loved the bonus epilogue so much. I can’t wait to read ‘The Confidant’ yet.
Contains steamy make out sessions between the MCs. No swearing. Clean.
Elyse and Nash kissed. We know who to root for from chapter 3. But It was a Love triangle.
