Flash Fire
by TJ Klune
"Fighting to protect others, not because you want them to be a hero, but because it's the right thing to do" (Klune 359).
I liked this episode better than the first, I think. While the plot is clearly fictional, the problems and issues raised are very real. It also made me laugh out loud (during independent reading time with students), which is really unusual.
