The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager

5.0

Wow Sager knows how to write a F**king mystery. It’s been a long time since I’ve read something that I haven’t been able to figure out. This was absolutely enthralling. I spent every minute being completely contradicted of the things I thought I knew. When I was first getting into the novel, I thought there were too many characters. Too many names I was losing track of, except the important ones. But once I became more involved with the story I was hooked.

Emma is an artist tied up in a mystery surrounding three girls that vanished fifteen years ago from an expensive summer camp. But is she innocent or is she to blame? She is invited back by Franny, the owner of the camp, to become a painting instructor and what ensures is the unraveling and more mysteries.

I will be on the lookout for more books by Sager and hopefully I will not be disappointed.
