Five stars for the story, not necessarily the writing.
I loved this story of the relationship between a NY City business woman and 11 year old boy on the streets. It was so very moving and a great reminder/challenge to see people as more than their outward appearance may suggest. I cried multiple times as I got to know Laura and Maurice. I appreciated that it wasn't sugar coated. There were real glitches along the way as they learned to trust one another. Fantastic read.
