i'm sorry Shari for giving you three stars but you totally lost me at the end!! I was so upset.
This book was in no way, bad but it just was not memorable.
Here's my favorite things about Shari Lapena's writing: it always has well rounded characters, with multiple POV's that tie together in shocking ways.
My least favorite part of this book was the ending (shocking in a bad way) and the predictability of it. I think the premise of an unhinged woman getting revenge on her ex-lover is just over done. You are never going to believe her, whether she is right or not, and it's always just a mess of a situation. Honestly, I will continue to be a fan of Shari, but I would not recommend this book. While her writing style is always beautiful and easy to follow, this book was just not for me.
