I would have liked this much more if a lot of the first half was taken out. The last half was much easier to read for me and enjoyable. Personally I wasn’t a huge fan of the narration - it was interesting but the asides and references took me out of the story quite a bit, though I understand why it was done that way. Overall I did like it much more once I finished it, but I had to really soldier through until I got to the good stuff.
