Rescuing Harley by Susan Stoker
5.0
Harley Kelso is willing to do anything for her job. Beckett “Coach” Ralston is helping out a friend. He may appear to be an alpha male but he knows how to be tender around Harley. She’s brave about trying new things – me, chicken is my middle name. He’s a man of action but she has a way of making him slow down. To kick up his heroness our author makes him a champion of those that don’t speak up for themselves. This story is an adrenaline rush from beginning to end.
Most authors start creating anticipation right from the beginning. This author builds it gently. She gets you involved with the characters first and then on a dime you get the unexpected, which just makes it even harder to put this book down. You get so involved in the story that nothing else exists until you get through the Epilogue and learn that there are least two more books coming in 2017. For me, this was her best book in the series to date so I will be interested to see how she does with these next two. In the meantime, expect to get this book finished in a day and if you haven’t read Rescuing Rayne or Rescuing Emily you’ll have plenty of time to catch up. I even found Ms. Stoker wrote a novella titled Assisting Aimee – so even I have some catching up to do.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
