Lincoln Hospital
by Cassia Brightmore
Where to begin with this book. My mind was racing the whole entire time I was reading it. I have heard it as a mix of Grey's Anatomy and Dexter and the person who said that is spot on. This book takes on a real roller coaster of all kinds of emotions as well as wtf moments. What Cassia Brightmore did with this book was utter magic and words cannot express my love for this sordid, twisted, romantic tale. The flow was unbelieveable. The feelings gut you on so many levels. The major WTF moments really nail you. This whole book was jam packed with everything imaginable.
I loved Athena and the way her character was strong yet had her moments of weakness. She fights back and goes for what she wants. She is sassy and sweet but still emotionally involved just seeing Cian. Cian... well that boy is just sin on a stick, in more ways than one. He is a total alpha but also a total softy when it comes to Athena. She melts his walls that he constructed. Cian's dark side may make you tremble but ohhh do you ever tremble in a good way.
When the book ended, I honestly had to reread the final few pages to grasp all that happened. It was a major OMFG what did I just read and it leaves you begging for so much more. Brightmore has gold with this book and I am so looking forward to reading more of this series. I am a girl who likes a lot of twists with her books and Brightmore delivered and let me in awe.
