It is absolutely no secret that Penny Reid has her own brand of romance and I am in love with all of her works – they are fun, unique and end up being those romance that tend to become a learning experience in itself.

Motion; the first in Law of Physics Trilogy starts off with a twin swap – where the spoilt, flight twin, Lisa begs her twin, the prodigy, Mona to take her place when she gets into trouble, mostly to protect her inheritance. Identical in looks, they couldn’t be different from each other, if they actually, consciously tried. Yet loyalty forces Mona to help her twin out, even if she is exasperated with Lisa most of the times.

However, there is an unknown entity in the equation – Abram, their elder brother Leo’s best friend; and the guardian appointed to Lisa in the absence of their parents – shouldn’t be that hard to fool him, he hasn’t even met Mona and only met Lisa fleetingly.

But as the days of deception goes by, things start to happen – Mona an intellectual starts to develop feelings for the man who doesn’t like being lied to – and Abram finds himself being intrigued by a girl who he considered to be flighty and spoilt but is anything but!

Like all Penny’s books, Motion is also sprinkled with the uniqueness that has Ms. Reid’s stamp – and for a non – science major like me, is still entertaining without making me feel like a chump.

I have also realized that when author warns that cliffhanger would be painful – it ACTUALLY IS PAINFUL. I am hoping so many things from the rest of the two books in this trilogy; but I am also hoping that we get an insight into Abram’s thought process at least once (okay I want more, but I will make peace with once!) throughout the trilogy!
