Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

5.0

I'm enjoying the Harry Potter books a great deal thus far; this third installment is my favorite. Perhaps it's partially due to the fact that after three school years with Harry and his friends, I've grown to adore their unique traits and peculiarities. Perhaps it is because J. K. Rowling's creativity once again outshines the norm, proving she is a master at weaving plots and shaping fantasy. But I believe what touched me most about this book was the tender sentiments that finally bound Harry Potter to Sirius Black--both desperate for family ties and honest acceptance. There was a depth of emotion revealed; it affected me. It is a real pleasure reading these books. I look forward to the next in the series.
