Lock & Key by Sarah Dessen
4.0
So this was my first Sarah Dessen book, and I have been wanting to read one of her books for a while now. Hearing all the good reviews about her books I decided to see for myself and I was not disappointed. I picked up the book at my public library, and as soon as I got home, I got myself settled on the sofa, and started reading. I admit, that it was not an easy read, as I would expect it to be from a non-fiction book, but I got through it with in the end of the day. The emotions projected were so strong, that the argument Ruby and Nate had on Valentine's day made my feel like I was actually in Ruby's body, and feeling her heart ache. There were lot's of surprises along the way that I was not expecting, and they kept me at the edge of my seat or sitting upright in my bed. The main character did not get on my nerves, like they usually do, which is good and although I did not really like the ending I will certainly be picking up more of Sarah Dessen's books.
