3.5 stars Great contemporary ya romance. Clean and sweet. Though fairly violent. Although the age difference between Maggie and Seth didn’t bother me as much as some readers. It did shock me that his police captain, Booker supported it. Especially, when she was underage. Booker even calls Maggie jailbait for half the book, which means he saw that she was young. But he doesn’t warn or caution Seth about her.
The book did have minor mistakes, which are common for indie books. And there were some plot elements that I thought could have been tightened up. However, overall I really enjoyed the story, and I'm looking forward to the two companion books.
