A sensational and emotional end to a trilogy of events epic proportions.
I really fell in love with the charters in this series. They’re complex, morally ambiguous and they love so so deeply. The friendships and relationships between them felt authentic and weren’t always perfect. I really found myself rooting for them and feeling emotional when something happened to them. (Also, badass lesbian characters!!)
The magic system in this universe is so unique, the magic tied to plants and faith. It’s so intricate but explained so as it’s simple to understand.
I always like multiple POVs in books and this has which is great to see different sides of the story and different parts of the world.
There’s high stakes and battles, keeping you on the edge of your seat but also deep conversations and beautiful lyrical writing.
Definitely going to be a new fave trilogy, loved it so much I’m pretty sad to be leaving this world to be honest. I’m super excited for the author’s new book releasing in October!
