Maybe Once, Maybe Twice by Alison Rose Greenberg

5.0

This is one of the most unexpected, brilliant books I’ve read in a while. It is rare that I read a book where I can’t predict the outcome. Reading through the time jumps and relationship jumps really helps to set the stage for the one true love story to unfold. I was constantly rooting for both of the MMCs in throughout her life. I’m telling you even in the last chapter of the book I wasn’t certain where or even if there was a HEA for Maggie. I will say you have to pay very close attention to the chapter titles since the time jumps around without rhyme or reason to tell the stories behind her music and relationships. I love the relationships, the what ifs, the friendships, Maggie, the supporting characters. Ugh it was so good!
