What a ride! A great debut by Katherine Faulkner. This is the type of story where your brain is ??? throughout, I mean you’ve got theories, but where is it going to land!? It all hinges on the conclusion, and this one did not disappoint. There were a lot of twists, suspicious (and guilty) people, and I think all of the loose ends were tied up well by the end.
I couldn’t put this book down. It revolves around pregnant Helen, who meets unpredictable Rachel at a prenatal class, and things get .. uncomfortable? I don’t want to give too much away, but your head will be spinning with all the ways the characters are connected, wondering what is going on?! It’s tense. Great domestic thriller!
