The Elven King's Love by Devon Vesper
3.0
I'm still following along with the Fated Elves series by Devon Vesper. This is book two in the series, and like book 1 [b:The Elven King's Captive|56829004|The Elven King's Captive (Fated Elves #1)|Devon Vesper|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1611639179l/56829004._SX50_.jpg|88847305], I felt it lagged in the middle. There was a ton of repetitiveness again and honestly I could only take so much of Cass and Dustin's mood swings. I was getting whip lash from their yo yo'ing emotions. If book 1 and 2 were combined and the repetitiveness removed I think it would be a solid 4+ star book. The premise is interesting and the world building with the different worlds besides Earth has me intrigued and wanting to learn more about the Elven world. I really want to see a reunion between Cass and his son. I also really want it to end up being a happy reunion so Cass can go back to living in his world. I've made it this far so I plan on continuing with the series. I'd like to see Cass and Dustin get their HEA after all the BS they have both been through.
