First things first, I love Ray sm. He was such an amazing mmc and I'm normally pretty judgy with mmcs. Of course he had its flaws, like we all do, but I think that overcoming an injury like that is really difficult and of course, life changing and you could really feel his frustration and embarrassment of being a hassle to everyone because of it.
The plot is pretty simple and the storyline is too, so it's really easy to read. Maggie's writing style is so effortless and easy to follow, I couldn't stop reading (60% in one day) and that's a big plus for me.
Ray's and Brooke's relationship escalated quickly but you can really tell they're made for each other. She doesn't see him as a paraplegic person, she sees him for who he is and loves him despite of his injury.
In my opinion this book was so much fun and much better than the first one (Cassandra I'm looking at you). I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good cowboy, small town and grumpy x sunshine romance.
