I loved this book!! Kate & Roman were my favorite characters, this book takes place in a small close knit town.
Kate couldn’t wait to get out of the town that she hated, until 20 years later she is brought back. Her dad became very ill and she needed to care for him. With her sister Tully refusing to come back to the town she hated, Kate has to handle it on her own.
Only problem is, her best friend Roman who she also ran away from is a detective and he needs her help on a missing high school students case.
Since Kate works as the high school as a psychologist she gets to know and see all that is going on inside the school.
When a girl goes missing and her body is found, the change of the investigation is now a homicide. As Kate has her own reasons for also coming back home, she is the perfect fit for helping the investigation. She is now in the middle of a dangerous game- one where no one can be trusted.
