5.0

This was my second time reading this book and I loved it just as much as last time!

Following on from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, this book primarily focuses on Nesta and Cassian, and I loved every minute of it.

Sarah J. Maas is able to create such complex worlds and characters, and this book was no different. I love how Nesta starts off as an intentionally unlikeable character, but she goes on this journey to truly accept and forgive herself, and really begins to redeem herself.

Cassian is honestly such a loveable character and that didn’t change here, between him and the rest of the Inner Circle, I always love revisiting these characters.

One of my absolute favourite parts of this book is Nesta’s new found family in Emerie and Gwen. I really enjoyed seeing Nesta gain the bonds that Feyre previously found for herself.

The side plot of Feyre and her pregnancy was something I really liked, especially how the baby almost seemed to bring Nesta and Feyre back together.

Overall, I loved this book!
