This book was just....meh. At least it's not formulaic like the previous versions, but it just seems a little lacking. It wraps up a bunch of things,

like fenrir, what happened to the kids they adopted, and whatever else,

but what I wanted most about their relationship is kind of thrown to the side. Also I'm kind of annoyed that

she got all of fenrir's memories and now all of a sudden her apprenticeship is shorter.

It feels like a cop out to me, and just left me super frustrated.
