Although Rue is more of a “colder” and socially awkward MC, I can tell that I found myself in her. I, too, can’t seem to make new friendships work. I miss social cues, i’m being looked as being too wierd.. same as she did growing up. 

Eli’s chapters were also really good! You can see both characters difference between how they feel VS how the other percieved them. He seems to be a good balance from Rue’s personality

The sexual angst was so powerful, making my breath catch whenever they’d fall into it. The scenes were tasteful and respectful- a big plus! Her limits were respected and he always sought to do whatever felt best to her and get her off as much as possible.
