This comic is so beautiful and the story is so amazing. I am always a little wary of stories by Grant Morrison because they are either awesome or awful. However, I have found in a the recent past that he has been empowering a lot of other smaller atists to create really great things as well, see 18 Days for a great example.
I was pleasently surprised by how action packed and character driven this short series is. Dan Mora draws a stunning piece of art. The main female lead is complex and has a lot of growth and development for having very limited page time. The story and style gave me flashes of Loser's meets the claymation Here Comes Santa Claus.
I highly recommend this story, Christmas or not.
