This is a sweet imaginative take on real world events. Unlike the real world, the giants listen and change their behavior to save the forest. The book is clear that this book has a happily ever after that the real world has yet to see and provides some encouraging tips to help others get started on Eco-activism.
I liked that this book chose to provide an "ideal world" scenario for this. Just how easy it could be to listen and change, even when you've made -sometimes unknowingly- made mistakes. It also is encouraging about making your voice heard about something you care about even if you don't think anyone will notice. At first people didn't notice Greta (real and fiction) until they did.
