Okay this book has me divided. At first I didn’t enjoy it and it felt like such a let down compared to all the previous books. It felt extremely limited to just the Bene Gesserit perspectives, and took a while to answer questions that were raised in the previous books. However it did grow on me, I enjoyed the detailed experiences of different reverend mothers, and honored matres, and Duncan/Teg/Murbella storylines. This book started off difficult to place in the universe but around the 150 page mark I found it more interesting. The entire plot about Jewish people was weird tho, why does fantasy/sci-fi do that?? Also the people that Duncan saw in the net being revealed at the end makes no sense. I bet the next books go into that but omg I don’t care. Murbella gaining the position she did also confused me. This is definitely a book you have to reread to truly grasp. Overall though, I think it was a good conclusion to original trilogy, I’m glad I finally could answer so many questions about the scattering and Leto II, but I’m even more glad to be done w the series.
