Nothing Is Missing: A Memoir of Living Boldly by Nicole Walters

emotional hopeful inspiring reflective fast-paced

I didn't know who Nicole was before starting reading this book, I was just intriged by the title. I can say that I'm not disappointed. I think I've rarely cried so much reading a book. The parts about her daughters were what touched me the most,  and seeing her parenting really warmed my heart because I didn't grow up in the most gentle parenting household ever. An incomprehension was seen as a failure that needed to be scolded, and I related a lot to the part where she said that she was confused when she came back from school and her dad told her that she needed to fix her attitude. It's hard to know what to fix when you already do everything you're expected of but still fail. I was really inspired by her positivism and her generosity. I see a lot of criticism saying that it didn't teach them enough or that there wasn't enough details, but honestly I felt like nothing was missing (lol), a memoir is a collection of memory, and I believed that she shared what was important to her, because this book is for her.
