I love a good grumpy x sunshine romance, and let me tell you, Wells was G-R-U-M-P-Y. I adored his "I hate everyone but her" mentality, but what really warmed my heart was how protective he was of Josephine and how much he loved her. Throughout the entire book, I couldn't stop laughing and kicking my feet in the air at their love story. I really liked Josephine's character; her humour and her ability to bounce back from setbacks are what made the novel so great. I adore a good novel with banter, and I couldn't stop giggling at the exchanges between Wells and Josephine. The scene in the shower was *chefs kiss*. THE SPICE WAS SPICY.
