I was so excited to get into Magic Strikes because I’ve been loving the slow development between Curran and Kate, but also just because I love Kate so much! She’s a total badsass woman who’s so independent, can one hundred percent take care of herself, is smart, confident, and witty — Kate is a Boss and I’m a huge fan! I am also really digging these plots, especially the one in Magic Strikes. I was wondering where this author duo was going to take us with this story after reading for awhile and when everything started coming together, I was so impressed and couldn’t get enough! Magic Strikes was intriguing, complex, and fascinating — I loved it so hard and I’m so happy I still have a lot more of this world left to read.
