I got a recommendation for this book through a FB bookgroup. Not even halfway through and I was bursting from the seams, wanting to share and talk this book. Having finished it now, still feel the same!
It has very different dynamics than any shifterbook I read.
Even though it is PNR, in the story there is some real life themes that are shown and moved through.
It has very accurate representation of trauma and its effects. Without being heavy or angsty.
And a lot of assumptions about dominance and submission are criticised in an awesome way.
I love when a good story also has great depth.
The characters are lovable and show growth.
Tis is a top tier book! Can't wait to read more from this author. Hope they will follow up this story as well.
