Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut
4.75
Wow. I've been working my way through ever Vonnegut in a completely random order based on what I find in book stores, and the one I read right before this was Player Piano. Which I could NOT get into. It was his first book, and Mother Night his second, and the difference between them is drastic. Mother Night has all of the things I love about his work: cynicism, humor, hope, oddity, extremity, and humanity.
